Simplicity 1970 ©1947 Misses' Play Suit and Skirt
This 1940s printed pattern is for a fantastic skirt and playsuit. From the envelope, "The bodice, fitted with front underarm darts, has a knot and gathers at the left shoulder. A band at the lower edge and a side-button closing finish the one-shouldered bodice. The side-buttoning shorts, pressed into a crease in front, are fitted with darts and join to a waistband. The gathered skirt features a yoke in front and an opening at the center back. Tie ends extend from the waistband and fasten into a bow at the center back. Style II has a contrasting skirt. Instructions are included. Pattern is complete and mostly uncut.
This pattern is a vintage 40s size 14 and fits a 32 inch bust, 26 inch waist and 35-inch hip.
Envelope is in poor condition with rips, yellowing and edgewear.
